Oil deposits, pollutants in the air and worn particles can affect the service life of the oil-gas separator, and the final pressure difference varies with the use environment. In actual use, the final pressure difference of the oil-gas separator is 0.8-1.0 bar and the vacuum pump is 0.5 bar. The dirt on oil and gas separator will also increase if the oil quantity is high, which can be measured by the discharge of sewage. The amount of sewage discharge is related to the design of pre-separation structure of air compressor. The optimum value of sewage discharge is about 1g/m3. Therefore, the service life of oil and gas separators can not be measured by time, only the final pressure difference to determine the service life.
